This reply is for Ken & Willie in particular, but also for anyone else who might be interested.
I am replacing the bearings and seals on the front wheel of one of my 84`s and my local suppliers have stocks of the SKF 6202-2RSH bearings & GUFERO seals TC 25 38 7 (25mm I/D, 38mm O/D, 7mm thk).
If you want me to get some for you, let me know, I will find out how much they are tomorrow when I collect the ones I have ordered.
Mike.

bearings and seals
Hi Mike and thanks for the effort.
I think what I will do is take your numbers to our local supplier who supplies our workshop and see if he has them on the shelf. Then it will save you a lot of messing around posting. Are these seals the type that knock in after the bearing or like the originals and go over the hub. Are front and rear all the same?
Thanks Ken

Ken, I am only doing the front wheel(s) at the moment & I have yet to strip the rear wheel(s) to have a look at the bearings & seals but I think the rears are a different size, however, my suppliers assure me they will be able to supply rear wheel bearings & seals. The seals I have, drift into place after the bearings are drifted in, the seal on the brake drum side fits flush with the bearing housing and the one on the other side protrudes by about 3mm above the bearing housing but is then covered by the original seal retaining cap. I`ll post some further info when I have obtained rear wheel bearings & seals.

Bearing Specifications
Ref. Bearings:-
some years ago I had a lot of dealings with the tech staff at Glacier Bearings, and, according to what they said, the full specification of bearings made by all the main suppliers, such as SKF, Glacier, etc, is in an alphanumeric code, etched into the rim of the inner or outer race. If, therefore, you give this info to a bearing supplier, they can use this code to establish not only the nominal size of the bearing, but also quite complex stuff - such as, is the inner race supposed to be clamped endwise on the shaft, or is it meant to be a press fit?
So, if you have a bearing, even if it is utterly wrecked, as long as you can read that code, you can establish what the correct replacement should be. Which confirms the old restorer's adage - "NEVER throw away an original part - even if it looks totally useless."
Hope this helps, and best regards,
